About
Well greetings from Sunny, or not so, Devon. My new blog is lacking in content at present. But, I shall endeavour to fill it with stuff that interests me from my travels around the net, life in general and things that make me laugh or things that make me groan! You will probably find my political standpoint, slightly to the right of “Attila the Hun”! Thats me, get over it and move on. Feel free to argue a point, but do it in English, not “TXT SPK” Leave that for “Facebook and Myspace”
Here is a little info about me……………………………..
I am a 49 year old Guy from Budleigh Salterton in Devon, UK, (South-west England) Into motorcycles, cycling and real ale. Writing to the press and generally having a good old rant about politics and current affairs both national and local. I work as UK Service manager for an Agricultural and Equestrian Supplies Wholesaler, dealing mainly with high voltage electric fencing and horse clipping equipment. Over the years I have been a motorcycle mechanic, an amusement machine engineer and a bridge painter. Whilst having a handy crop of GCE O levels under my belt, I earned my qualifications in the “School of life” and value common sense as the greatest qualification of all. One that is sadly lacking in today’s “Health and Safety Society”
Hopefully you will find some of my content interesting or amusing, but please feel free to be offended by my non PC sense of humour. I cannot stand the sterile Politically correct way that life is going, we all need to argue and debate, shout and laugh, scream and cry…we have become a nation of people devoid on emotion and sanitized by the propaganda fed to us by the government controlled media…Think for yourself and decide! Thats what life should be about…..Question Everything. Believe Nothing.Trust No One In Authority or Power and look beyond all the lies, for only there lies the truth.
One of my favourite quotes:
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.”
George Carlin (US Comedian and Actor)
